Background
The Malaysian Society for Simulation in Healthcare (MaSSH) was officially established on 19 December 2016 by a group of healthcare professionals.
MaSSH serves as a community of practice among simulation enthusiasts who aspire to advocate healthcare simulation far and wide across Malaysia by pooling resources and expertise.
MaSSH aims to promote simulation-based education in healthcare through regional and international networking and collaboration.
MaSSH is an affiliate of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSiH) and the Society for Simulation in Europe (SESAM) and is a strategic partner of the Pan Asian Simulation Society in Healthcare (PASSH).
Objectives
- To serve as a platform for sharing healthcare simulation activities among simulation enthusiasts in Malaysia.
- To pool resources and expertise in healthcare simulation practice in order to achieve greater impact on healthcare outcomes and patient safety.
- To reach out and advocate simulation-based healthcare education across the country.
- To promote research, scholarship and innovation activities related to healthcare simulation.
- To collaborate with other healthcare simulation societies across the region and the world.
